    • Yes! It's an ideal choice for diverse group needs and dynamics with a flexible bed configuration. Sleeps 6 in 3 kings or a combination of kings and singles. Family Bathroom with walk in wet room, bath and WC, plus en suite shower and WC to master. Travel cot, high chair and bed guard available for little people.

    • Yes! The barn is a contemporary single story barn conversion with flat, level access and just one step inside the property.
  4. Does the property have eco credentials?

    • Yes! The barn has its own water source, water treatment plant, ground source heat pump and biodigestor.
  5. Is there private parking?

    • Yes! There is private parking for 3 cars including 1 same level parking space outside the front door.
  6. Is there an enclosed garden at the property for my dog to safely use?

    • Yes! In fact there are two!
      • The enclosed lawned garden is accessible via a dozen steps.
      • The enclosed gravel courtyard garden is on the same level, directly accessible either via the open plan area or master bedroom.
  7. Are there places to walk my dog nearby?

    • Yes! Walks from the door through permissive access farmland routes 
      • Plus easy access to many sections of the SWCP (South West Coastal Path)
      • Kingswood (2 miles) for woodland walks 
      • The Pentewan Valley Cycle Trail (2  miles) offers dogs the opportunity for a refreshing dip in the chalky freshwater stream that runs the length of the trail 
      • Plus loads of dog friendly beaches.

  16. Is the barn near the coast?

    • Yes! Situated in Mid South Cornwall within a couple of miles of several fantastic beaches where you can hire watersports equipment or search rock pools for crabs and barnacles. 
  17. How far is The Milking Parlour Cornwall from the nearest beach?

    • There are several beaches within a few miles:
      • Pentewan Sands - (3 miles/10 mins). A wide sandy bay with watersports hire: SUPs, Sea Kayaks & sailboats. Campsite's facilities include soft play, restaurant, indoor swimming pool with small water slide. Pub in the village. Dog friendly Oct to Easter
      • Polstreath at Mevagissey- (3.5 miles/10 mins). Access via around 200 steps down to the beach. It's worth it! Dog friendly year-round.
      • Portmellon - (4.5 miles/12 mins). Small bay in low tide. Watersports hire available and a good pub, The Rising Sun
      • Porthpean - (5 miles/15 mins). A small sheltered sandy cove with watersports hire: SUPs, sea kayaks and sailboats. Rock pooling when tide is out. Dog friendly year-round
      • Charlestown - (5 miles/15 mins). Several pop up cafes and bars around the harbour, ice cream and artisan shops. Pebbly beach. Great rock polling at low tide. Dog restrictions appply.
      • Carlyon Bay - (6 miles/15 mins). A huge wide sandy bay. Several beach cafes and shops on the beach. Dog friendly year-round
      • Porthluney - (6 miles/14 mins). Stunning backdrop in front of Caerhays Castle. Beach bar and cafe. Car park on beach. Dog friendly year round
      • Gorran Haven and Little Perhaver - (6 miles/14 mins). Pretty harbour village with sandy bays which merge at low tide. Great fish n chips! Dog friendly year-round.
      • Vault Beach - (6 miles/14 mins). Naturist section at far end of beach. National Trust parking - honesty box. Dog friendly year-round
      • Hemmick (6.5 miles/15 mins). A family favourite. Breathe in! Narrow road down to the beach but park at Dodman, National Trust car park a quarter of a mile up the hill. It's quiet, sandy with coves around the rocks so private and sheltered. Direct access to and from the SW coastal path. Dog friendly year-round
      • East and West Portholland - (7.5 miles / 20 mins). At low tide the beaches merge to form a wide sandy shore. Dog friendly year-round
      • Par Beach - (10 miles/25 mins). A huge wide sandy bay with lots of sand dunes. Mobile coffee shop in the large car park. Pick up excellent fish n chips to eat on the beach at sunset from Val's Plaice in the villag. Delicious! Dog friendly year-round.
      • Pendower and Carne - (12 miles/25 mins). Together they make up a 1 mile long sandy beach. National Trust parking. Dog friendly year-round
